Kopaki - Fatal farm accident

Police and Emergency services are at the scene of a fatal accident in Kopaki.

A 63 year old local farmer has died when the digger he was operating rolled.

The trains in the area have been slowed due to the location of the accident and heavy machinery will be required to remove the digger.

The Dept of Labour have been notified and an investigation commenced.

A further release will be made by the Waikato Communications Manager in the morning.
