Fatal Industrial Accident

At about 3.12 pm this afternoon, Police were called to an industrial address in Foundry Road, Silverdale, Auckland.

A 40 year old male had fallen into some machinery and despite first aid and the attendance of Ambulance, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police secured the scene and the Labour Department is now investigating the incident.

Next of kin have been advised however Police will not be releasing his details until all family members have been advised.
