Anyone with an interest in the Council’s plan to develop a small public park on the site of the Queen Street car park is invited to come along to a meeting at the Council on Monday evening.
The ‘pocket park’ is one of the ideas to come out of the Growing Marlborough Blenheim Town Centre Report: “A Vision for the Future” – the Council’s town planning project which has been underway since 2009.
The Council this year decided on the first projects to begin from that Blenheim Town Centre Report; street trees and a cycle lane on Seymour Street, gateway entrances to the town at Grove Road and Alfred Street and a small green pocket park at the northern end of Queen Street.
