Flooding in Waimana

Advising that all vehicle access into Waimana area are closed due to flooding.

The Waimana creek banks have broken and the water flow has come up to the backyards of several residential homes. Nearby roads are also flooded.

The situation is being closely monitored by both the Fire Service and the Police.

All motorists are here urged to stay away from the area.
