Police treating death as suspicious

Christchurch Police are investigating a death of a woman found in a vehicle in Yaldhurst.

A body of a female was located in a blue Honda Civic (1984 model) in Grays Road, behind the Airport at about 10am this morning.

This is being treated as a suspicious death . A scene examination is to be conducted along with a post mortem says Detective Inspector Virginia Le Bas

The identification of the deceased is as yet unknown.

“If anyone has any knowledge of the blue Honda Civic that has been located on Grays Road , we would ask that they please contact the Op Gray inquiry team at the Papanui Police Station on 3637400 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
