Surfboard sighted in rough surf Paekakariki

Police would like to hear from anyone with information about a yellow and black surfboard that was seen in rough surf approximately 300 metres south of Fisherman's Table, Paekakariki at 4:40pm this afternoon.

A member of the public reported seeing the board but it was not clear whether there was a person with it or not. A search of the area has been completed and the surfboard was not located.
