Tree Removal from Manukorihi Hill

A large macrocarpa at the top of Manukorihi Hill, Waitara, will be removed on Thursday 26 January due to erosion around its base.
Manukorihi Hill Road will be closed to all traffic during the removal, from 8am to 5pm. (The road may reopen earlier.)
Two smaller self-seeded macrocarpas half-way up the road will be removed at the same time.
This work will take place rain or shine.
