King of the Hill at Levels

Jordan King went fastest in the second session of official testing for the 2012 Toyota Racing Series at Timaru today.

King has not to date been able to show his true pace, but he waited until the closing minutes of the second session today to put in a biostering lap in hot and breezy conditions, going to the top of the timesheets with a 58.167.

King is a member of the elite British Racing Drivers Club Rising Stars programme, as is Josh Hill who was second fastest on 58.202.

Third in this session was Raffaele Marciello, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy programme - arguably Italy's version of the BRDC Rising Stars.
