Plane crash

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a plane crash at Timona Park, near Feilding, after a number of witnesses reported seeing a small plane crash at approximately 10.45am this morning.

Police at the scene have confirmed a small plane has been extensively damaged. It is not yet known how many people were on board, however there are no signs of survivors.

The area has been cordoned off so that a thorough scene examination can be conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority and Police.
