Proposal to close roads

The City Development Committee will meet on Wednesday 29 February 2012 to consider the following proposed temporary road closure.

• Laings Road – from the intersection with Knights Road to the entrance to The Dowse Carpark, will be closed on Saturday 31 March 2012 from 7am to 4pm. This is to cater for street displays for Race Unity Day.

• Laings Road from Knights Road to Myrtle Street will be closed on Sunday 6 May 2012 from 8am to 5pm. This is to cater for the Crazyman Multisport Event.

• Margaret Street between High Street and Queens Drive will be closed on Friday 9 March 2012 from 10am to 3pm. This is to cater for an event as part of the Australasian Police & Emergency Services Games 2012.
