41 year old Tauranga man was taken into Police custody

A 41 year old Tauranga man was taken into Police custody last night after Police were called to a domestic argument at an Oropi address near Tauranga.
Shortly after 10pm, Police were contacted by the partner of the man and told of the situation. Members of the Tauranga AOS attended after Police were made aware of the presence of firearms at the address.
The male was taken into custody without incident and the firearms secured. At this stage no charges have been laid and the male has been issued with a Police Safety Order.
