Crash: Driver dies at scene

At about 10.20 am this morning, Thursday 9 February 2012, a crash occurred on Lincoln Road near Fairdene Road, Henderson.

A Mitsubishi SUV crossed the centre line of Lincoln Road and crashed into a southbound vehicle.

Emergency services attended and performed CPR on the driver of the SUV however the 63 year old male driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the south bound vehicle was treated for minor to moderate injuries and has been taken to Hospital for treatment.

Early investigations suggest that a medical event led to the SUV crossing the centre line.

The Police Serious Crash Unit will be completing the investigation of this matter.
