'Native Aotearoa' – Embracing the diversity of our culture

The South Island and Terrace Downs Resort are honoured to host a collection of Shane Hansen original and print works which celebrate our land, our souls, ourselves, & our love.

Shane Hansen is one of New Zealand’s most popular artists of contemporary maori inspired artworks. The rich and diverse culture that Shane was raised in provided him with the inspiration and foundation for his renowned style.

Shanes work’s are adored by international visitors, and embraced by New Zealander’s.

His beautiful artwork is a vehicle of communication uniting all cultures. It has been created to uplift the spirits, connect people, relax the mind and comfort the soul.

The work is a mix of all cultures that resonate with shane yet they are compiled in a contemporary New Zealand way with the use of different media.

The collection of Shane Hansen original and print works celebrate the entirety of life, the energy of one.

This exhibition will be a cutural experiance for all and will leave you with a strong sense of being a patriot of New Zealamd.
The Music for the night will be provided from the award winning artist Kris Trousselot who has been a wonderful addition to the Art nights over the past year.

The Exhibition opening begins at 6:30pm Thursday 01st March, seated by 7pm. There is a full delicious buffet provided for $45 per person and a complimentary beverage on arrival.
