Road closure: SH2 Waioeka Gorge, Matawai

Police wish to advise that State Highway 2, Waioeka Gorge (Sandy's Bridge & Traffords Hill) is closed until further notice due to large slips in the area.  Contractors are on scene and working on clearing the slips. 

Recommended Diversions are SH 58 and Napier Taupo Road.
