Grievous Assault in South Auckland

At about quarter to five this morning, Police were called to a residential address in Favona, South Auckland in relation to a domestic dispute at that address.

On arrival they found the victim, a male with serious, life threatening wounds.

The victim has been transported to Middlemore Hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Another male from the address is helping Police with their enquires.

Police are also speaking to a number of witnesses and are not seeking anybody else in relation to this incident.

There will be no further comment until Police enquires are completed.
