They’re back!  That’s right Roller Derby fans, the Pirate City Rollers will launch their 2012 bout season with their first game at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama.  The teams will be made up of PCR’s newest “Fresh Meat” graduates playing alongside the returning skaters at an all-new venue for Roller Derby in Auckland.

The ASB Stadium is a world-class venue for Roller Derby having hosted a number of international events, including the World Roller Skating Championships, Commonwealth Games Gymnastics, and Trans-Tasman Netball games.  On top of experiencing the many amenities of a professional venue, the bout will be the first time ever that fans have the option to purchase Corporate Table seating. The price of a Corporate Table includes rink-side seating with food and beverages, delivered by a private beer wench!

The graduating players have been training all summer to get “bout ready” for what promises to be Pirate City Roller’s biggest season yet.  Come check out the new skaters, and bring your best cheers to support the returning fan favorites.

Arrive early on bout night to get the best seats and get your cheer-on for the “Freshies”!
