A 19 year old man is in a critical but stable condition in Auckland hospital after the car he was driving struck a power pole on Mt Albert Road early this morning.
Three other vehicles collided attempting to avoid power lines brought down in the crash however none of the occupants were seriously injured.
Ponsonby-based Serious Crash Unit staff are investigating the cause of the crash.
