Man charged with Khandallah Post Shop aggravated robbery in February

Wellington Police have arrested and charged a 29 year old Upper Hutt man with the aggravated robbery of the Khandallah Post Shop on the 7th of February this year.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Jason Perry of the Wellington CIB says as a result of information from members of the public via TV2’s Police Ten-7 show, which aired in late February, and subsequent enquiries undertaken, Police arrested and charged the man this morning.
“The 29 year old will appear in the Wellington District Court this afternoon, facing one charge of aggravated robbery. We’d like to thank the many members of the public who assisted us with our investigation.”
