After a successful album release and tour at home, in Australia and throughout the U.S., The Brunettes are now beckoned to Europe as their American label Sub Pop have recently wooed the group into a deal that extends their relationship across the desirable European continent.

Jonathan Poneman, head of Sub Pop Records commented, "Sub Pop is proud and grateful to take the challenge of formally introducing The Brunettes to the rest of the uncivilized world. "

Some of the hottest tastemaker websites in the world have long been fascinated with the group and the latest album has found considerable favour:

Pitchfork.com: "It's one of the year's more accomplished, sonically detailed works of baroque pop."

Popmatters.com: "they've created a mighty fine album in Structure & Cosmetics . It's ambitious, and it generally lives up to its ambitions, with well-crafted songs and hummable tunes. Stylish and sophisticated, these are the Brunettes of 2007."

The album 'Structure & Cosmetics' will be released in the UK and Europe this Friday November 5 - alongside a tour throughout November that takes in the UK, Turkey, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Their first London show of the tour has already sold out and the sexco0ng night looking to do the same. Possibly spurred on by the excellent NME album review; “The Brunettes have just raised the musical bar so high that unless giraffes master the Moog pretty darn soon, everyone’s just going to have to give up hope.”
