Get free advice at the Parenting Expo

A free parenting expo is on this Saturday 5 May at the Central Library.

The expo will feature a range of organisations and resources for parents, caregivers and grandparents.

Childcare experts will be on hand to provide information, answer questions and offer advice on different aspects of raising children and child development.

The participating organisations are: Wellington Community Law Centre; NetSafe; Child, Youth and Family; Parents Centres New Zealand; Family Planning; and Plunket.

Library staff will also take time to demonstrate the extensive resources available at the library - including online databases, websites, catalogues - and let people know where to look on the shelves for the latest books, DVDs, CDs, audio and ebooks.

The expo is on from 11am-3pm, on level one at the Central Library, 65 Victoria Street, Wellington.
