QUEENSTOWN

Eichardt’s Private Hotel offers ‘the whole package’ when it comes to exquisite holiday accommodation in Queenstown with the recent launch of the new Eichardt’s Residence.

An ideal retreat in the heart of the resort, The Eichardt’s Residence is a substantial and exclusive property just a few steps from the lakefront and about three minutes stroll from the hotel.  It has glorious views over Queenstown Bay, across to Queenstown Gardens and The Remarkables mountain range.

Featuring stunning interior design in the style of Eichardt’s Private Hotel, the property extends over three levels and boasts three large bedrooms with ensuites, two further bathrooms, expansive balconies, fireplaces, a spa bath, media room and a fully equipped European kitchen.

Eichardt’s General Manager Chris McIntosh said The Eichardt’s Residence was a perfect complement to the existing Hotel and Lakefront Apartments and was perfect for small groups, colleagues, and families.

“It’s a wonderful, private venue designed with space and luxurious comfort in mind,” he said.

“It has everything you need to hold a small private meeting, entertain business colleagues or friends, or enjoy a wonderful family holiday.  It’s ideal for longer stays or very private stays.

“Like our hotel and apartments, there are many touches that make The Eichardt’s Residence very special and we’re delighted to offer this level of fully self-contained accommodation in Queenstown.”

The level of service offered at The Residence is purely the choice of individual guests, although Mr McIntosh stressed that guests at The Residence were guests of Eichardt’s Private Hotel.
“The Residence has all the comfort and style of a home away from home while guests are absolutely welcome to enjoy full use of the hotel,” he said.

“Some guests like to stroll down to Eichardt’s for breakfast, others prefer to self cater.  We can service rooms or not as people want.  We can organise chef to cook for them or cater a party, and we can stock the pantry pre-arrival if required.  It really is all down to what our guests want. ”

Celebrating the launch of The Residence, a grand opening special is available for the 2012 winter season.  Guests are invited to stay two or more nights from $750 per night including GST (saving from $1500 per night).

High-end influential UK magazine Tatler has named Queenstown’s Eichardt’s Private Hotel one of the world’s best hotels in its highly coveted annual travel guide.

Eichardt’s is included for the first time in the magazine’s ‘Top 8 Forever Fabulous’ category of The Tatler Travel Guide 2012, alongside the world-renowned The Ritz of London.

The Times newspaper of London also recently named the Eichardt’s Bar one of the ‘Top ten bars In the world with a view’.

Queenstown is the four-season tourism destination of choice for discerning visitors from all around the globe, known for its adventure sports, golf, skiing, wine, biking and tramping.
