Record low mortgage rates are driving demand for newly launched finance comparison site PriceMe Finance, as consumers seek help in locating the best current home loan rates.
PriceMe Finance, the finance arm of the highly successful priceme.co.nz shopping comparison site, has seen a huge increase in visitors as banks slash their mortgage rates to 50-year lows. Finance experts are encouraging both existing and potential home owners to shop around given the current low rates.
Chris Palmer, PriceMe Marketing Director, says heightened awareness of the present favourable borrowing environment is creating increased interest in the new site, priceme.co.nz/finance, which launched just two weeks ago and is currently still in beta mode.
“Consumers are keen to find out how they can benefit from the reduced rates, and with PriceMe Finance they have a quick and easy tool to compare mortgage interest rates, fees and payments from the leading lenders,” Palmer says.
Consumers can quickly see the total cost of loans across the range of providers, along with details on monthly payments and conditions such as minimum/maximum payments and loan to value ratio.
The site also includes comparison tools across a comprehensive range of finance offerings, including credit cards, savings accounts, term deposit, with plans to include KiwiSaver soon, enabling consumers to gain a transparent view of the quality, attributes and pricing of most financial products.
