A 23 year old Hamilton man will appear in the Hamilton District
Court this morning charged with Wounding with Intent.
He was attending a 21st birthday party in Mahoe Street in Hamilton
overnight (18th/19th May 2012) where an altercation occurred.
A 24 year old Hamilton man has subsequently been taken to the Waikato Hospital after suffering stab wounds to his back. Hamilton CIB are investigating.
Police appeal to anyone who attended the party to contact Detective Sergeant Ricky Thompson of the Hamilton Police CIB on 8586200 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
Any information from anyone present at the party will significantly assist with the investigation.
