Body of missing man located in Belmont Regional Park

The body of a 43 year old man missing in the Belmont Regional Park since Thursday afternoon has been found.
Detective Sergeant Nick Pritchard of the Hutt Valley CIB says the body of Lance Kaiki was located in the Belmont Regional Park earlier this afternoon.
“Mr Kaiki and his mountain bike were located following a further search in the area today. His death is being treated as unexplained at this stage but it is not suspicious.”
Mr Kaiki’s death is being referred to the Coroner.
