Train Vs Pedestrian

<p>Police and Emergency services were called to an incident involving a pedestrian and a passenger train at approximately 0850hrs this morning.</p> <p>The scene, at the&nbsp; barrier controlled intersection of Porters Ave and New North Road, Mount Eden is currently being examined by serious crash unit and CVIU staff.</p> <p>Passengers on the commuter train are currently being transported on buses while Police examine the scene.&nbsp; It is likely train travel will be disrupted for a short while.</p> <p>The male pedestrian has been taken to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.</p>
