AOS callout

At about 11.20 pm Saturday 21st July 2012, police were called to a domestic incident at an address in Edgeware, Christchurch.

As they approached the dwelling a 44 year old male, who is known, presented a pistol at the attending officers.

No shots were fired.

The offending male managed to flee the scene before the arrival of the Armed Offenders Squad and is yet to be located.

An air pistol was located inside the address and it is believed that the offending male is no longer armed.

Investigations are continuing to locate the man.
