Fatal Incident

At about 2.50 pm this afternoon Police were advised of an incident in Devon Street, Aro Valley, Wellington where a Male had been crushed by a digger.  Ambulance staff attended and discovered the man (unknown age) deceased.  The exact circumstances of the incident are a little unclear at this stage.  The scene has been cordoned off and Police and Department of Labour staff are investigating.  A number of witnesses are being spoken to and further information will be released later this evening.
