Detective Senior Sergeant Dene Begbie says Police are still seeking public assistance and want to hear from anyone who was on Tarewa Road between Walton Street and Porowini Avenue at about 2.00am Friday morning.

It may be that these people have not seen or heard anything but we still need to identify who they are and confirm the timing of their movement as we piece together the movements of the victim.

Police are also asking for public help as they look for a black LG cellular phone, model A180 which they believe was in the possession of the victim leading up to the time she was discovered.
