Draft Marlborough Regional Land Transport Strategy 2012-22
Marlborough District Council is seeking feedback on its Draft Marlborough Regional Land Transport Strategy 2012-22 (the Draft Strategy).
The Draft Strategy identifies the region’s land transport needs, including roads, rail, public transport, cycling, walking and the movement of freight. The plan outlines how these needs will be met in a sustainable manner. It is reviewed every three years to ensure that it is current and that relevant issues are managed correctly.
A full Statement of Proposal (including the Draft Strategy) can be viewed at the offices of the Marlborough District Council, 15 Seymour Street, Blenheim or on Council’s website www.marlborough.govt.nz.
Copies of the Summary of the Draft Strategy can be obtained, free of charge, from Council’s District Administration Building, 15 Seymour Street, Blenheim; Marlborough Library, 33 Arthur Street, Blenheim; and Picton Library and Service Centre, 67 High Street, Picton. The Summary is also available on this website on the Marlborough Regional Land Transport Strategy page in the Parking, Roads and Transport section.
If you wish to make a submission on the Draft Strategy, please provide it in writing to PO Box 443, Blenheim 7240 or by fax to 03 520 7496 or by email to email@example.com.
