Red Zone security passes, uniforms and ID taken

Overnight on the 28th September 2012,  5 vehicles were broken into at a group of flats at  Champion St, Christchurch.

Taken in the thefts were uniforms and ID that will allow entry to red zone and residential houses. Items include Aotea Electrical blue overalls. Aotea on breast written in green and red. Fletchers Orange Fluro uniform with white helmet and attached yellow earmuffs and light on front. Fletchers ID and Red zone security pass number 16140. Fletchers and Ward Demolition order books that can be used as cheques with suppliers. Ward Demolition Fluro uniform. Two Fletchers radios.

Also taken set of golf clubs in a Black/grey Mizuno bag with two Taylor made drivers and a Scotty Cameron California putter, $7000 of tools engraved with 'NIC'. Tools included a Milwaukie Titanium Hammer -$600, A Makita tool kit with a drill and two sabre saws and a Makita chisel belt. Green Wallet with black and white stripes. Three limited edition black t-shirts with Hotel Grand Chancellor Demolition in red. Fletchers digital work camera. Large items and large quantity taken. Tool box would take two to lift.
$4000 worth of horse gear, including two saddles, one Bates and one Tottenham.

Police are warning residents, business's and contractors to be aware that these items may be used to gain goods, services or entry into homes.
