Waikato police are investigating the death of two men who have been found dead in a cave in the Coromandel Peninsula.

The cause of the men's deaths is being investigated.

The names of the men will not be disclosed until their families have informed.

A post mortem examination for each man will take place in Auckland tomorrow.

A further release will be made when information comes to hand.
