Armed Incident in Karori, Wellington

Just after 5:00pm Police were called to an address in Makara in relation to an alleged presentation of a firearm.

A vehicle of interest in relation to the above incident was located by Police 40 minutes later.

Armed Police stopped the vehicle without incident.

Two persons in the vehicle have been arrested and are assisting Police.

Wellington Police are appealing for any sightings of a light blue Toyota Hilux utility registration number SN1674 in the Karori, Northland or Wilton areas on Friday afternoon.
