Asian Female Missing On North Shore

NORTH SHORE CITY

Browns Bay Police are investigating the disappearance of an Asian female who is reported missing from her Torbay home on the North Shore.

Police say that at about 5.30pm yesterday Monday 5 November 2012, the woman left her Torbay address and did not return. She was reported missing by her husband.

Police say that the missing woman regularly walks along Long Bay Beach to the end before returning home.

Police have issued a description of the missing female.

•       NAME: Bin / CHEN
•       English Name – known as “Cissey”
•       Ethnicity – Chinese National
•       Aged 44 years;
•       Height – 1.56 metres tall
•       Medium Build
•       Clothing – last seen wearing dark pants, possibly blue jeans and white fleece top
•       Photo – provided with this statement

A Police search and rescue team is combing Long Bay beach and the surrounding area. CIB are making enquiries.  Anyone with information is urged to call Browns Bay police on 09 478 1700 or alternatively call Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
