John Key statement on Roger Douglas

Earlier this week I said I was not going to run a Government with a radical right wing agenda. I intend to run a moderate, pragmatic Government that will serve the interests of all New Zealanders.

Today Roger Douglas outlined policies which do not fit with the agenda of a moderate, pragmatic Government I hope to lead.

Post-election, if National is in a position to put together a government, we will only work with parties that can work with our moderate, pragmatic agenda.

I am not going to campaign to New Zealanders on one agenda, and sell them out after the election on a radical right wing agenda.

National is not saying it cannot work on some issues with Act where we have agreement - like tax -but National is not going to sign up to the policy prescription outlined today by Sir Roger.

intersting that Keys made a dig about Sir(sic) Roger Douglas sell out and betryal of the NZ people - but how trustworthy is Key's? English has already let it slip that sellouts of our remaining public assets are on the agenda, and lets get this straight, sell outs of public infrustructure is not on a kiwi agenda but opening to forigen ownership is part of deals we make with memebers of the WTO and IMF and WB - so when our non representaive government starts spouting off about how it  has 'our' collecetive interests at heart don't beleive them they are forced by virtue of membership to various off shore groups to put the groups interst first over the will or the concerns of the people

keys is just another pretty faced front man with an agenda he 1) has to 'sell' to the rest of us and 2) hes more of a front man to these other off shore groups of which NZ is no longer a soverign nation but a member state than a representative TO the NZ people - that is politics in todays corupt and covert world of domination and control and free market interests.
