More than 60 books on the history, culture, ideas, arts and religion of Iran were donated to Victoria University by the Iranian Government. The Iranian Ambassador to New Zealand presented the books to the University last Thursday. Given to promote understanding and knowledge of Iran in New Zealand, the gift is timely as Victoria moves to establish the Centre for Islamic Studies with Otago University.
