At approximately 8.30pm this evening a van carrying several passengers has collided with a truck on State Highway near Tirau.
1 person has died at the scene and 2 others are seriously injured. The Serious Crash Unit has been called to the scene and will be investigating. Diversions have been put in palce at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Webster Road.
