Police and emergency services are presently at the scene of a fatal vehicle crash on State Highway 1 Waipu, North of the Brynderwyn Hill.
Road diversions are in place fir southbound traffic and motorists are asked to travel Waipu Gorge Road onto Doctor Hill Road and onto State Highway 12.
North bound traffic to take State Highway 12 onto Doctor Hill Road and then Waipu Gorge Road.
