At 11am this morning in Boulcott Street, Wellington City, 2 males aged in their early twenties, were involved in a dispute with the operators of two tow trucks.
No-one was injured, however, during this altercation one of the males produced a black replica handgun.
Both males were restrained by the tow truck operators prior to the arrival of Police.
The 2 males are facing assault and firearms charges and will appear in the Wellington District Court on Friday 3 July 2009.
The dispute was over the towage of a vehicle.
