A fatal one car accident occurred at about 1.45am on christmas morning in the vicinity of the Hopuhopu bridge between Ngaruwahia and Taupiri. This incident had already been the subject of a previous press release.

Police have advised next of kin and now confirm the details of the deceased to be one Paul Lawrence MCLAUGHLIN aged 31 years.
