Police are presently at the scene of a ruptured gas pipe on Swanson Road Waitakere.

The road between Metcalf Road and the Swanson Road roundabout is closed to traffic.

If motorists could avoid the area to ease traffic congestion. It is expected that the gas pipe will be repaired by 2.30pm.
