20:41 - Police and Ambulance are attending to a one car accident in Ahipara Rd in Ahipara, Northland.

The vehicle appears to have rolled off the road and into a drain. The crash scene is approximately 2km south of the Ahi[para township.

The lone male occupant of the vehicle is now confirmed as dead.

Circumstances of the crash is still unfolding including the identity of the deceased.
