Police advise that Manaia Rd., Manaia (alias SH25 Manaia), is flooded north of the single-lane bridge.

Flooding signs are in place at the northern end of McLeod Strait, 5km south of Whitianga, for 1km

Due to incoming tidal waters only 4WD vehicles may be able to cross, but generally the road will be impassable until about 4pm.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
