Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash at Mission Bay, Auckland

A car has collided with a tree and a female has died as a result. Three other persons were in the vehicle and have minor injuries. Police are working to identify who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Serious crash investigators are at the scene.

Atkin Road between Nihill and Codrington Crescents was closed to traffic but was reopened at 4.15am
