Traffic delays at a busy Hagley Park intersection can be expected over the next six days due to major roadworks

Christchurch City Council is advising road users to avoid the Fendalton Road/Harper Avenue/Deans Avenue intersection over the next week if at all possible and to use an alternative route in order to ease traffic congestion.

The roadworks are part of the scheduled Western Interceptor sewer upgrade and the installation of the new Fendalton Duplication sewer pipeline.
