Lyttelton Police are currently searching the walking tracks between Lyttelton and Cass Bay for a 77 year old male who has failed to return after leaving his Cass Bay address on foot around 3 pm this afternoon.

The man is described as follows:
Male Caucasian – 77 year old
Blonde hair
Wearing a short sleeved blue vest over the top of a short sleeved green and blue checkered shift, and green trousers

The missing man answers to the name of “Fred”.
