Police investigating the homicide of Jane Marie Furlong are holding a media briefing at 1pm today at the Sufe Life Saving clubrooms, Sunset Beach, Port Waikato.

The briefing will be lead by Detective Inspector Mark Benefield, who heads the Operation Darlia investigation team.

Jane Furlong was the woman buried at Port Waikato’s Sunset Beach and whose skeletal remains were found on 19 May  2012 – nearly 19 years from when the 17 year old was reported missing in Auckland.
