New Zealand residents will continue to leave our shores for Australia and elsewhere as long as the Labour-led Government's current mad policies are in place, ACT founder and candidate the Hon Sir Roger Douglas said today.
"On average, New Zealanders earn around $350 percent a week less than Australians," Sir Roger said.
"New Zealand needs to put in place policies that will enable us to catch up - policies that will enable us to increase growth by five percent a year or four percent per capita.
"Over the next six months, ACT will outline what those policies need to include - policies such as cutting Government expenditure, slashing regulation and cutting taxes.
"Only ACT has the guts to do what's right," Sir Roger said.
