Plans for the proposed Taipo Stream pathway remain on the table as the Napier City Council continues to consult individuals and groups in the community.

Design plans for a 1.8m long cycle-walkway were put forward at a public meeting held in the Taradale Town Hall on 2 April. These are not being progressed at this stage, however, as the council continues a wide-ranging consultation process with all interested parties.
