QUEENSTOWN

With a large, Cheshire cat style grin, operators of an award winning Queenstown based eco adventure company are offering adventures in Queenstown’s own wonderland at Mad March prices.

Ziptrek Ecotours March Madness starts this Thursday (March 1) with a tea party at Queenstown’s World Bar to promote the mad month. Locals and visitors alike will be able to experience the ziplines at “off peak” rates.

Sales & Marketing Manager Nicky Busst said the Alice in Wonderland theme was fun and relevant for Ziptrek Ecotours.

“Operating deep in a forest has a definite wonderland feel about it. Many of our guests are entering an entirely new environment and being introduced to new ways of thinking about their surroundings and effects on it. Many walk away with a changed perspective. Plus we have lots of crazy events planned throughout the month.

“We plan to keep everyone well-informed of activities with frequent social media updates but I can tell you that in addition to the themed days and other shenanigans, St Patricks’ Day promises to be a real blast,” she said.

*Mad March pricing for the Moa 4-Line tour is $99 for an adult and $59 for youth and seniors. The Kea 6-Line Tour will cost $149 for an adult and $109 for youths and seniors. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Gondola ticket not included, however this can be purchased at the Skyline Gondola building. Bookings are recommended.
