Palmerston North City Council would like to notify residents of Palmerston North that there will be road closures for the purpose of traffic management associated with the Rugby World Cup 2011.

Road closure times are as follows:

• 28 September 2011 from 7.00am to 10.00pm
• 2 October 2011, from 7.00am to 3.30pm

Roads closed to Ordinary Vehicular Traffic are as follows:

• Cuba Street from Cook Street to Waldegrave Street
• Pascal Street from Cuba Street to Chelwood Street
• Waldegrave Street from Featherston Street to Cuba Street

The roads concerned will be closed on the two days that Palmerston North host Rugby World Cup 2011 games. Georgia plays Romania on 28 September 2011 and Argentina plays Georgia on 2 October 2011. For more information contact the Council on 06 356 8199.
